Nippers Nutrition
The Nippers Nutrition Programme has been developed by a partnership comprising Eatsome, Cornwall Council’s Public Health and Protection and Children’s, Schools and Families Services. The programme aims to help improve the quality of food and drink provided in the county’s nurseries and pre-schools. The partnership educates managers and cooks of early years care settings, on how to produce healthier menus, encourages the use of local food, helps them to provide high standards of food hygiene and promotes activities around food to educate children about living and eating healthily.
To find the location of your nearest Nippers Nutrition awarded setting, or if you are a nursery, pre-school or child minder wishing to take part, please email tradingstandards@cornwall.gov.uk or telephone 0300 1234 191
